About us
The Chair of Software Engineering at Saarland University develops and evaluates methods, tools, and theories for the construction and analysis of efficient, reliable, maintainable, and configurable software systems. In this endeavor, we pay special attention to the human factor in programming and software engineering. We complement cutting-edge research with high-quality lectures, seminars, and lab exercises. We advise regularly Bachelor, Master, and PhD theses, publish in top-ranked international conferences and journals, and receive substantial funding from various sources. Furthermore, we cooperate with a number of international research groups, research centers, and companies, including Siemens AG, Bosch Engineering, and Airbus Helicopters.
