About us

The Chair of Software Engineering at Saarland University & Saarland Informatics Campus develops methods, tools, and theories for the construction of manageable, reliable, efficient, configurable, and evolvable software systems (e.g., software product lines), including critical application domains, such as data-intensive applications and high-performance computing. We complement cutting-edge research with high-quality lectures, seminars, and lab exercises. We advise regularly Bachelor, Master, and PhD theses, publish in top-ranked international conferences and journals, and receive substantial funding from various sources. Furthermore, we cooperate with a number of international research groups, research centers, and companies, including Siemens AG, Bosch Austria, Airbus Helicopters, and Fraunhofer IESE.
