13th IEEE Conference on Automated Software Engineering

ASE '98 will be held 13-16 October 1998 in the Waikiki Beach area of Honolulu, Hawaii. Our meetings will be in the Sheraton Princess Kaiulani hotel, but part of our room block is in the Sheraton Waikiki hotel.

ASE '98 is being held in conjunction with the 5th Working Conference on Software Engineering (WCRE '98) conference, also sponsored by the IEEE Computer Society. We have a combined hotel room block.

The room rates are:

Note: Hawaii's Hotel Tax of 6% and Hawaii's general excise tax of 4.166% are added to these rates.

For reservations, we suggest that you contact the specific group sales people listed above. You can also call 1-800-STAYITT (Sheraton's main number) or +1-808-931-8576 (Sheraton Hawaii reservations), or fax 1-808-922-7708 (Sheraton Hawaii Fax), but they may tell you rooms are not available on particular days when our group contacts can still book rooms in our block.

The deadline for hotel reservations: September 12th, 1998 at 5pm Pacific Standard Time

Please request the "IEEE ASE-98/WCRE" room rate. The hotels are completely booked except for the "IEEE ASE 98" rooms, so you must request this particular rate in order to obtain a room at one of these hotels.

Also, for budget purposes we are trying to keep track of how many room nights have been reserved by ASE participants, so we would appreciate it if you would send e-mail to alex@wiliki.eng.hawaii.edu with information about which hotel you have reserved, what starting night, and for how many nights you have made the reservation.

Anyone seeking a roommate for the conference should contact Alex Quilici (alex@wiliki.eng.hawaii.edu), who is maintaining a list of these requests and will pair people up.
