Bio: Gregory M. Kapfhammer is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Allegheny College. He earned his PhD from the Department of Computer Science at the University of Pittsburgh, writing a PhD dissertation that was supervised by Mary Lou Soffa. Kapfhammer was previously a short-term visitor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Virginia, the Institute of Applied Information Processing at the University of Ulm, and the Department of Computer Science at the University of Sheffield. In a prior position, Gregory Kapfhammer was a research associate at Cigital, a software company that was acquired by Synopsys. Working in the areas of software engineering and software testing, Kapfhammer publishes papers at top conferences and journals such as the International Conference on Software Testing, Verification and Validation, the International Symposium on Software Testing and Analysis, the International Symposium on the Foundations of Software Engineering, Transactions on Software Engineering, and Transactions on Software Engineering and Methodology. He currently serves as an Associate Editor for the Journal of Software: Evolution and Process, an Academic Editor for the PeerJ Computer Science journal, and recently served as a program committee member for conferences like the International Conference on Software Testing, Verification and Validation and other venues such as the International Symposium on Search Based Software Engineering and the International Workshop on the Automation of Software Test.
