====== Social Events ======

//On this page you can find an overview of the social events of ASE 2010.//

The social event program features a beer-tasting reception on wednesday evening and a banquet on thursday evening. ===== Beer-Tasting Reception =====
The conference reception will take place in the city hall of Antwerp, a magnificent 16th century building with the perfect atmosphere to enjoy a few of the Belgian specialities. Indeed, we will use this opportunity, to allow participants to taste a few well-known but hard to find Belgian beers. The reception will finish at 21:00 to allow everyone to have dinner in one of the nearby [[restaurants|restaurants]].

===== Conference Banquet =====
The conference banquet on the other hand will held in the Marble Hall of the Antwerp Zoo, a completely renovated historic site and well-known for serving excellent food. The dinner will start at 19:00 but being a bit earlier should allow you to get a sneak preview of the Zoo. The banquet will be the occasion to celebrate the conference’s 25th anniversary (hint: don’t miss the welcome drink).
