This paper presents a group critic system for 
object-oriented analysis and design.  A group critic system is 
a system which is aware of the problems it find in the design are 
the result of different users acting on different goals and all 
are responsible for the problem.  The critiquing system is 
embedded in a design environment which supports a construction 
kit and an argumentative  hypermedia system.  Moreover, our 
environment also implements a  cooperation model for 
semi-automatic recording design rationale which is homogeneously 
integrated with the group critic system.  The integration is 
accomplished by the use of annotations which are also used as 
the cooperation medium among designers.
